Make some memories in with family and friends and go fishing with Blackbeard Fishing Tours.
The fish in these waters include Cobia, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bluefin Tuna, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Gag Grouper, Black Seabass, Black Grouper, Great Barracuda, Broomtail Grouper, Wahoo, and more, depending on when you go.
You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Blackbeard Fishing welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks!
You'll be casting lines from a 30' Pilothouse with space for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Blackbeard Fishing.
