Run For The Reels – St. Pete Beach
Make the most of your time along any beach in Florida and go shark fishing with Run For The Reels. With Captain Carson, you’ll benefit from over a decade of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Tiger Shark, Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Lemon Shark, Mako Shark, Nurse Shark, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. During the trip, you will be fishing with heavy tackle, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Carson welcomes children, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your guides run trips off beaches and jetties along anywhere on the Florida Coast. They will provide all the necessary rods and reels. Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before starting your adventure, you’ll need to buy a local saltwater fishing license for everyone in your group and complete the Shark smart fishing course (Free). This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Run For The Reels.
