If you're ready to get hooked on fishing in North Miami, book a trip with Avenger charters. With Captain Cris at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Mutton Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bonito, Cero Mackerel, Cobia, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, and plenty more. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Cris also offers kite fishing.
Trips with Avenger charters are great for kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your vessel for the day is a 30 foot center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Chris was an amazing captain. From the moment we got on board, he was attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about making sure we had a great time. He took us to several different fishing spots, always adjusting techniques and locations so we could catch more and better fish. We ended up catching some really nice ones, including mahi-mahi and barracuda. What impressed me the most was how great he was with my 11-year-old son. He kept him entertained the whole time, teaching him, and making sure he was enjoying every moment. It was obvious that Chris genuinely cared about giving us the best experience possible. We had an incredible day out on the water thanks to him, and I’d absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and memorable fishing trip in Miami.

We’re from Ohio and I have a 13 year old boy and 10 year old girl who love fishing. I found Cris on Fishingbooker and booked him based on prior reviews, having no knowledge on who to use. We had such an amazing experience fishing with Cris that I felt impelled to write this for others blindly searching for charters. We communicated prior on the app which he responds to quickly. He promptly met us at the location provided and was super friendly. Cris was professional, knowledgeable and was determined to make this a memorable and positive experience. He took us out to 2 spots where we caught fish after fish for hours!! He was patient with the kids and made them feel involved every step of the way. I highly recommend this fishing charter and can’t wait to come back!! Thanks for the wonderful memories, Cris!

Worth every penny!
There were 6 of us on a half day trip. Captian Chris was on it. We went to a couple of different spots that he said had been hot over the last couple of days before our trip. We had fish on a couple of times and lost them at no fault to him. The water was pretty rough so we were leaving our last place to head in to the bay to fish in some smoother water when while were reeling in the last pole it got hit. It was a bucket list moment when a 7' Sail Fish jumped out of the water, "Fish On". Just by luck we had hooked the Sail fish. It took all 6 of us taking turns on the reel to get him to the side of the boat. After an hour fight we finally got him to the side of the boat. Kept him there long enough for us all to get pictures with him and then set him free. Was a very cool experience and will book again with Captain Chris when we are back in the area.

Starting with friendly and warm welcoming by Chris. He is very child friendly and everything was prepared and we could start directly. First some bait catching and Chris explained and showed everything how to Do. He involved the 9 year old in every step and we had a great catch on the Trip! Afterwards He cleaned and cut the fish ready to Cook. Chris is a very friendly and sympathic Person! We highly recommend him and his fishing Trips! Next time we come to Florida we will choose him again for our fishing trip!!! Thank you for everything!!!!

AVENGERS!!
What an amazing experience we had an awesome time on the boat. It was a really slow morning, but the captain did not stop until we found fish. We were hustling and enjoying the wind, enjoying the music. We finally landed at a spot and the fish were jumping in you would’ve thought Jesus was there throwing them in the boat for us. The captain made sure all the fish was of size and sliced up all the keepers. We literally did not have to do anything. The kids had fun. would recommend would sail again.
