Catching not fishing

Morning Half Day Trip on December 13, 2025 • 2 adults

My wife and I booked a trip last minute. Anthony accommodated us even though he didn't have too. Not only that he brought us coffee and pastries. His attitude, personality and customer service would have made the trip memorable without catching fish. But we absolutely killed it. We went to one spot and caught one fish after another for 2 and a half hours it was non stop action. We caught several species of fish and never stopped until the tide shifted and it slowed. He was ready for more and we were exhausted. Thanks Anthony you are a really diamond. WE will be back.

Amazing Sunset Fishing Experience!

3 Hour Sunset Inshore Trip on November 30, 2025 • 2 adults

This was an absolutely amazing experience! Anthony is just a great host, super knowledgeable in fishing and has an amazing vibe! For my first time fishing, he was very helpful in setting everything up and walking me through the process. He went above and beyond to ensure that my partner could attempt to catch the fish he wanted and took additional time to make the trip worthwhile. Definitely worth the booking and price is super decent! Will be booking this every time I am in the Miami area!

UNFORGETTABLE FISHING TRIP: Hammerhead & Nurse Shark CAUGHT

2 Hour Sunset Inshore Trip on November 25, 2025 • 2 adults

We chose the 2-hour sunset cruise trip and had the best time ever. Anthony was flexible with us and ensured that we got to see the sunset, even though it was earlier than original booked. He had all the bait, reels and vibes ready to go, all we had to do was show up! On the way he even became a photographer and a DJ for me and my girl. Given our time limit he made sure we maximized our fishing. He clearly knows what hes talking about and the best spots to go to, especially if you are wanting to target a certain species. We were hooked up on fish almost every single cast it was a night full of action, with the city lights as our backdrop. We weren’t initially targeting sharks, but Anthony suggested that we throw a line out after we caught good “shark bait”. Then we caught not ONE but TWO sharks and BOY did they put up a fight!!! Anthony coached us through it the whole way until we got the shark to the boat, then we all helped land it. He was very respectful of the animals and made sure we were quick about handling and releasing them back into the water safely. Five stars simply isn’t enough, we could not reccomend Anthony more! If you ever want to have a real fishing experience this is the place for you.

Great experience for my 12yr and 11yr old kids!

3 Hour Sunset Inshore Trip on August 13, 2025 • 1 adult • 1 child

Anthony created an incredible experience for my whole family, starting first with the meeting point. I didn't realize that our hotel was an hour away from his normal advertised meeting point. He quickly offered to meet me at a Marina about 25 min away, even though it was further from him. Anthony's boat was clean and organized, I could tell write away he takes pride in his work. He was great with my son Rowen, who loves fishing and was super excited. My 12yr old daughter was initially not excited to go fishing for 4 hours, but after she caught exactly 12 fish (she was keeping very strict count), she told me several times how much fun she had and she thanked me for booking with Anthony. When we come back to Miami, we will book with Anthony and he will take us off shore fishing. This trip was inshore, which was great since I didn't want to get too crazy... This was my 11yr son's first time on a boat and we were able to keep things manageable, while still catching lots of cool fish. Oh, and I had fun too. I caught a 25lb Tarpon. :)

BEST FISHING TRIP EVER!!!

Special 4 hour trip for Axel Montano on July 13, 2025 • 1 adult

Anthony was literally the best fishing guide I have ever had! He was so committed to ensuring I had a wonderful fishing trip and was extremely accommodating of my shifting schedule and sudden changes. He was very informative, taught us everything we needed to know and was extremely knowledgeable. From taking our luggage and storing them for us, taking the extra time to safely and comfortably get us to a great spot offshore, also while actively avoiding an incoming thunderstorm while keeping us on great fish! He was really the best charter guide I've had so far, furthermore, I had mentioned I was targeting Grouper and I only had a quick 4 hrs to do it. That's a really short window for a specific fish but he said we can do it, and he absolutely deliveried because he got me on my first red grouper ever not even half way into the trip. Not to mention, in total we got 15 really great fish in such a short time and I got to fight a huge grouper as well. If you are debating guides in the Florida area, I would 100% recommend captain Darna to anybody looking to have a wonderful time! He will get you on fish and you will have a BLAST doing it! Captain Darna is worth every penny!
