Make some memories in Calabash and go fishing with Calabash Fishing Fleet aboard the 'Cyclone.'

Depending on the excursion, you might hook into Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Wahoo, Vermilion Snapper, Blacktip Shark, Gray Triggerfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Grunt, Gag Grouper, Black Seabass, Cobia, Red Snapper, and who knows what else! On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.

Your boat for the day is 'Cyclone,' a 45' Key West that can carry up to 42 passengers. This is a complete walkaround fishing vessel! Super spacious with inside and outside seating, this unique fishing vessel is equipped with the latest navigation and fishing equipment and can be utilized for chartered sport fishing as well as large group bottom fishing excursions. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 15-20% tip. You will not need a fishing license while aboard this fleet as each vessel is licensed fully for every passenger! This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are welcome! You can't go wrong when you bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Now's the time to experience fishing in Calabash for yourself with Calabash Fishing Fleet!

Black Sea Bass Friday
Half Day Trip - 11:30 AM on November 28, 202512 adults2 children
we booked a four hour Friday after Thanksgiving fishing excursion for 14 people on the cyclone with Captain Jordan and deck mate Yazzo. it was a bit chilly but the fishing was amazing! We just wanted to catch lots of fish and we did just that! We caught mostly black Seabass but a few others included grunts and porgy. we were able to keep enough to have a nice little fish fry after Yazzo filleted them for us. Definitely recommend the whole team!

Group of 10 and I had a fantastic experience. Captain took us about 10 miles offshore and put us right on them. Crew was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great fishing experience! 10/10!

Great Day - Bad timing
Half Day Trip (Shared) on July 7, 20253 adults
We didn't catch a lot of fish. We went right after the Tropical storm went through. That made the bottom murky. But the Captian really tried to but us in the best locations. My 14 year old Grandson caught the most fish (4). I would diffently use them again on my next trip to Myrtle Beach.

Beautiful day, slow on keepers
Half Day Trip (Shared) on May 2, 20252 adults
Was a great weather day, boat was not crowded and it appeared we all caught fish. Targeting Black Sea Bass that has a 13" minimum, not many caught were keepers. The Capt and mate worked hard for us, however, the fish were simply small, and Capt & Mate abided by the rules. I will certainly go out again with this outfit. Hopefully the many small ones returned to the water, will have added some size!

Went out on a morning trip and had a great time! Came back with a bunch of sharks and a few other fish. Kids and adults all pulled up 10+ fish each, many were not keepers, but they had a blast!! Hats off to Captain Dave and Captian Alex. We were out on the Miss Calabash
