We had an unforgettable experience with the Calabasas Fishing Fleet! From the moment we stepped on board, the crew was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and genuinely focused on making sure everyone had a great time. They made sure we were always in the action and catching fish—even the kids got to reel in some sharks, which was an absolute highlight! The staff went above and beyond to make it fun, safe, and memorable for all ages. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exciting ocean fishing adventure!

We had a great time and caught a bunch of fish considering the conditions were pretty bad on the water. Weather was a bit cold and water was very rough but that was to be expected for this time of the year. Captain Jason and first mate Darryl were great. Jason was pretty up front about the fact that the conditions were going to be bad but we would see what we could do. We stayed optimistic and within no time they put us on the fish. Lots of action and got some keepers. Darryl was super friendly and easy to get along with. He also did a great job at fixing all our bird nests and keeping us baited up. I would definitely recommend going fishing with them on the Cyclone.

We took the shorter trip as we hadn’t had much experience in ocean fishing. The three of us(myself a 15 and 17 year old) had an awesome time. Caught lots of Sea Bass. Crew was great at keeping us on fish. Next time we will take the day long trip. Jonah filleted the fish we decided to keep. White mild fillets fried in corn hard to beat.

We didn’t catch a lot of fish. We went right after the Tropical storm went through.  That made the bottom murky. But the Captian really tried to but us in the best locations. My 14 year old Grandson caught the most fish (4). I would diffently use them again on my next trip to Myrtle Beach.

I took a week off from work and spent the first half in Myrtle Beach, SC. I looked into fishing trips out on the sea. I booked an early half day trip with Miss Calabash. The booking went smoothly and I was quickly sent a confirmation.

Upon arriving at the dock, I noticed the captain and crewmate were busy cutting bait, setting up rigs, checking their gear. It was a small group of about a dozen and we recieved a brief but detailed safety message.

A little while later we came to stop and the fishing began. Everyone on the boat was catching fish and the deckhand was very active unhooking fish, placing bait and helping in any other way he could. At points on out trip the captain would come down and assist as well, since we kept getting hits.

Although I got seasick, I have no regret nor anything bad to say about the conduct of our captain and crew. I’m very happy with the experience and would strenuously reccomend to anyone booking a trip with Miss Calabash.
