Summer Skool Sportfishing – Montague
Book your next trip with Summer Skool Sportfishing and find out what makes the fishing in Montague so unique. With Captain Glenn at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Local species include King Salmon, Walleye, and more with any luck. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Capt. Glenn welcomes children aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll be casting lines from a 26’ Pontoon that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Summer Skool Sportfishing.
