Me and my wife booked this trip with low expectations of catching bass considering how busy this lake is. We had a 3 hour delay due to weather but Captain Justin waited it out and kept the trip anyway. Upon picking us up we made a short run and immediately started catching Bass in the 4 pound plus range, within an hour we had boated numerous Bass in the 3 and 4 pound range plus several smaller Bass. Weather once again started moving in and Captain Justin sought shelter at a nearby marina to wait it out. Rather than calling the trip over once the weather cleared Captain Justin took us out to another location where we immediately started catching Bass again. We completed our 8 hour trip with a total of over 50 Bass. Me and my wife have been Bass fishing for over 60 years and today was our personal best day not only in quantity but quality of fish. Captain Justin knows this lake like the back of his hand as well as the patterns and location of the fish. His expertise of fishing this lake is second to none and his selection of baits was incredible. We had numerous Bass in the 4 pound range, 3 pound range and many around 2 pounds. We ended the day with over 50 Bass which were all released in a healthy condition. Captain Justin doesn't only tell you how to doit but also explains why you should do things a certain way. Captain Justin gives to techniques and tips that you can take anywhere and utilize to catch Bass. Captain Justin is not only a fishing guide, but he is also a teacher that will share all of his knowledge of fishing.
