Fishing around here will often see you targeting Sailfish, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Swordfish, Mutton Snapper, Black Grouper, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Great Barracuda, and more. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Brice can also show you kite fishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 39' Key West offshore sport fishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Brice and mate Jamison were first class from the time we booked until they cleaned and packed our fish on ice. Captain Brice was always quick to respond to messages. They both worked their tails off when fish were biting and then trying to put us on fish when they weren’t. We caught a bunch as well as catch and released. The extra fish they were able to make sure they had a good home. Our family feasted on our catch right after they were cleaned at a local establishment and were delicious. If you want a hard working crew, these are the guys.
Thank you guys very much!! You guys were great. Next time we will have some better blue water conditions and fishing. Hope to see you guys again soon! Brice.
We had a fantastic time fishing with Double Down fishing! Very knowledgeable captain and crew. We caught tuna, bonita and more! We would highly recommend this captain and crew.
Jamison and Bryce worked in epic fashion to get us on the fish!!! There was no quit. We have done plenty of guided tours they used every tool possible to find us fish. They were educational with our kids and taught them various techniques. We will definitely fish with them again.
