When we arrived it was an easy location to find and park at. They were there and ready to go on time. Discussed safety. We fished for flounder the first half, caught a few. Moved to another area and switched gear, caught even more fish. They were great with the kids too.

Captain Vince was awesome, he took us right to the fish and did great helping our two younger girls. He was very personable and great to talk to. Vince and his first mate were very knowledgeable and made sure we had the best time. I’ll definitely book again.

We had such a great time on our fishing trip with Captain Vince and First mate Philomena. Even though the fish weren’t biting much for us, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Captain Vince was the nicest person you could ask for—patient, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to give us the best chance at catching something, but more importantly, they made the whole trip feel like we were just out with friends for the afternoon instead of with strangers. He tried every spot and made the whole trip fun and relaxing regardless of the catch. We’d definitely go back out with them again and highly recommend!

My family of five, including my 8-year-old daughters, had an absolute blast with Vince and Running Tide Charter. From the very first phone call, I could tell Vince was professional, personable, and committed to making sure we had a great experience. We booked a 6-hour ocean fishing trip, and Vince delivered in every way. He put us right on the fish — we caught sea bass, trout, croaker, a skate, sea robins, and plenty of our target species: flounder. We brought home several keepers, including a beautiful 21” flounder! Vince was great with the kids, kept the energy up, and made the whole experience fun and memorable. We’ve already recommended him to several friends, and if you’re looking to get offshore my family would absolutely recommend Running Tide Charter.

We had the most amazing time on our chartered fishing trip with Captain Philomena and her father! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, fun, and truly memorable. Captain Philomena was knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she does. Her father brought years of experience and a great sense of humor, making us feel like part of the family from the moment we stepped aboard. The boat was well-equipped and comfortable, and they knew exactly where to go to find the fish—we were reeling them in in no time! Beyond the great catches, what made this trip special was the atmosphere they created: relaxed, friendly, and full of laughter. Vince and his first mate were absolutely wonderful. My 16 year old son and I had an unforgettable experience fishing for Seabass. Vince took us to the fishing grounds and I caught our first keeper on the first cast within 1 minute of fishing. As a Captain he is safe, on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and selfless. We were in deteriorating winds and the moment I told Vince I was starting to feel sea sick he took me in to calmer waters and we enjoyed blue fish and flounder fishing for the rest of our charter. He offered small stacks and water and always made sure we were having a great “experience”. Highly recommend! Thanks again Vince and Philimena!!!

Vince and Philomena were Wonderful hosts for our fishing excursion in Ocean City. they were committed to making sure each one of the 6 of us reeled in at least 1 fish. They were friendly & patient with us helping untangling & baiting our lines & it helped make the trip extremely relaxing and enjoyable. They even offered us suggestions on where to dine/eat. We would highly recommend.

Our family had a great time with Capt Vince and first mate Al. On our 3 hour bath trip we caught 3 flounder (1 keeper) and 1 stingray. Al really knows some good and varied spots to fish to keep it interesting. More importantly we were in good company and everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this for families, experienced and inexperienced alike. We plan to be back!
