Unshakable Charters offers remarkable angling with a knowledgeable skillful captain in the bays, jetties, and offshore surrounding Ocean City, MD. You will be welcomed by Captain Stedy who targets a variety of local fish and makes sure you have an unforgettable experience.
The name says it all. It does not matter if it is a young child's first fishing experience or you have been on the water your entire life, Captain Stedy's desire to make each of the anglers experience a memorable one full of catching fish and smiles is unshakable. No better way to get offline and onto the water. His 31 ft JC downeast-style boat gives a comfortable ride even on a choppy day that can accommodate up to 6 anglers. It is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, a head and an icebox to keep your catch fresh.
While having fun is one of Captain Stedy's top priorities, he also will ensure your safety with top of the line safety equipment including an 8 person life raft and EPIRB. He has life vests available even for the smallest of anglers with hydro activated lights on each.
During your time onboard, expect to try out spinning, trolling, jigging, and drift fishing on heavy or light tackle. If you are feeling more adventurous, talk to Capt. Stedy directly to customize your trip.
Capt. Stedy will provide all the rods, reels, terminal tackle and live bait to ensure the best chance to make your time full of catching not just fishing. While he is a big proponent of conserving the fish population, if you would like to keep your catch, he is more than happy and willing to filet it for you.
Before coming aboard, make sure to grab snacks, sunscreen and shades. If you do not have time to do this, just let Capt. Stedy know and he will help to arrange whatever is needed. If you need suggestions on a great local place to pick up lunch, just ask. Don't forget to dress comfortably and ready for a memorable experience that both Capt. Stedy and his mate will provide and capture on camera for you.

This was hands down the most fun we’ve ever had fishing as a family! We had four adults and two kids (ages 10 and under), and Captain Stedman made the entire experience incredible from start to finish. We caught 19 fish between the six of us, which made for an exciting day on the water! Captain Stedman clearly knows exactly what he’s doing and put us in great spots to catch fish. But what really made the trip special was his personality. His charm, charisma, and energy are contagious, and he made the whole experience fun for everyone. He was especially great with our kids—kind, encouraging, and incredibly patient. That meant a lot to us and made this a fishing trip our family will be talking about for a long time. This charter will absolutely become part of our annual Ocean City, Maryland vacation. We’re already looking forward to going back next year! Highly recommend Captain Stedman, especially for families with kids. An awesome experience all around!
I had the most incredible experience shark fishing with Captain Stedman! On the way out, he guided a kayaker in the middle of the sea lanes to safety. Then, under the drawbridge and not too far off shore, we began to fish. The captain knew exactly where to go, and within 30 minutes, I was battling the largest fish of my life!! I fought with what turned out to be a GIANT sand tiger shark for over half an hour. The captain coached me on exactly what to do and when. Not only that, he had to maneuver the boat and walk the rig around the front of the boat and under the anchor line back to me due to the creature changing direction multiple times. We had an absolutely incredible shark fishing trip with Captain Stedman and Unshakeable Charters. From start to finish, the captain and first mate were unbelievably friendly, helpful, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure everyone had a great time. They made the entire experience fun, relaxed, and memorable, and their enthusiasm made the trip even better. The perfect ending came on the ride back when we were treated to an unexpected dolphin show. Watching the dolphins swim and jump alongside the boat was easily one of the coolest things we have ever experienced. We would highly recommend Captain Stedman and Unshakeable Charters to anyone looking for an amazing day on the water. We cannot wait to get back to Ocean City and book another trip with them!
Would recommend. Ive been taking my teenagers on fishing trips fo years but this was my 8 year olds first time. He was so excited and was 100mph. The captain was able to slow him down and involve him so much, answer his million questions all while educating him. Long story short he had his hands full with my little guy and he enjoyed it so much not only does he want to go again but was already like “ Dad maybe we can go out again with him tomorrow😂🤣” Thanks again what a great experience
Stedman was a great Captain. Very funny, informative, and caring. He constantly asked us if we were okay and made sure we were having fun. When things got a little wet he gave us his fisherman's jacket. He made sure we went where the fish were and we caught 12 fish. He made my son feel included and amped him up. I plan on booking him next year. I would recommend him to everyone. Also we loved his dog Playa!
