Brule River Walk and Wade Fishing Trips
Join Mack Peters for a walk and wade trip on the banks of the Brule River. You will learn to rig and fish your preferred gear to target your desired fish. Trip start time varies based on other bookings and guide availability.

Steelhead season is upon us! Bookings for Fall 2024 are almost complete, with a handful of dates remaining. Conventional spinning gear, indicator fly fishing, or centrepin fishing are the methods we teach. Pick your preference or ask for a sampler to figure out which way you like best, and we will bring a bit of everything. All rods, reels, flies, tackle, and bait are provided. You are welcome to bring your rods/reels if you prefer to use them; consult with the guide before your trip to ensure it is the right tool for the job.
Fishing by month:
Lake-run Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) can be targeted from April until mid-May.
Resident Rainbow, Brown, and Brook Trout are targeted between June and August.
Night Time, topwater, lake-run Brown Trout is caught between August and September.
Between September and November, until the river closes, lake-run rainbow (steelhead), brown trout, and coho salmon can be targeted.
This experience is suitable for all ages and skill levels. You are required to bring weather-appropriate clothing, waders, a headlamp, a fishing license with an inland Trout stamp, and any drink or food for yourself for the trip.
