Hooked Up Sportfishing Costa Rica 

Such an amazing day with the absolute best crew!!! This duo worked so hard for the whole 8 hour trip. The captain Betto saw everything from above and his first mate hooked everything- a total of EIGHT sailfish!! They can't be stopped!! They hooked two at the same time, TWICE!! The best fishing trip I have every been on. These guys made our day, they are so nice and we're so excited about every catch. Truly an unbelievable birthday gift to my fiance. Lunch was also so lovely, a nice hot typical costa rican meal prepared by Berni. He took such great care of us. During our double catches he made sure to document EVERYTHING. Yall are awesome, hope we can come back for another trip soon!

We had an absolutely incredible fishing trip in Costa Rica and couldn't have asked for a better crew. Captain Christian put us right on the fish, and first mate Betto was outstanding — knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely fun to be around. Thanks to them, we caught seven sailfish, which was beyond exciting and more than we ever expected for one day. They were professional, patient, and made sure everyone felt involved and comfortable the entire trip. The boat was well run, the experience was smooth from start to finish, and the energy on board made the day unforgettable. (Lunch hit the spot) This trip was a highlight of our vacation. Glenn and I will be talking about it for a long time and would 100% recommend this guide to anyone looking for a top-notch fishing experience in Costa Rica. Donna I Can't say enough about this experience, Christian, Betto and Angelo went out of their way to accommodate Donna and myself. Memories for a lifetime! I hope I can make it back one day. We had an excellent fishing charter with Hooked up fishing. We are fishermen who go on an international charter annually, and fish in Michigan weekly and have done so for about 25 years. Between the two of us, for this charter, I wanted to fish near shore to catch dinner and roosters and my buddy wanted to trophy fish. The crew were very accommodating and worked very hard to accomplish both. We did wonderfully. I got my first ever Cuberra snapper and rock snapper (which were absolutely delicious) Then we went off shore to find bigger game. We went 3 for 5 on sailfish. An amazing experience catching my first sailfish also. We got to see a giant turtle, bottle nose dolphins, humpback whales, pilot whales and amazing scenery. We absolutely loved the day. Captain Christian, Mate Beto and Mate David were excellent, they worked very very hard to accomplish our goals and were very invested in achieving what we desired. That's all, anyone could ask of a crew, even on a tough day… thankfully this was a very productive day. Muchisimas gracias to captain and crew for an awesome day!

The captain was great as were the other guides. We caight two sail fiah and 4 beautiful Tuna. three moms taking out their 20 year old boys- couldn't have asked for a better experience. The boat was well equppied and our guides were patient and helpful.

what an amazing charter! the crew on the Rosa maria were top notch! they fished hard all day and we landed some beautiful sailfish. ive caught plenty of tuna but this was a bucket list for me as we dont get this species where im from. the crew also prepared us some amazing fresh ceviche from some yellowfin caught the day before! what a day! would highly recommend chartering hooked up sport fishing!
