Azalia Tours invites you to experience the stunning waters of Isla Mujeres and deep sea fishing at its finest! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Marcelo is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for Amberjack, Bonito, Red Grouper, Great Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Horse-eye Jack, Kingfish, White Marlin, Sailfish, Lane Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll step aboard Tatam, a 30’ Phoenix offshore sport fishing vessel with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Marcelo has rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It’s never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Lunch is provided, just reach out to learn more, especially if you have any dietary needs.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Azalia Tours.
