Prime Gancho Charters offers great inshore fishing just minutes from Houston. Fish the Upper Texas Coast from Baytown (upper Galveston Bay) targeting Redfish, Trout, Flounder and various other inshore species. We offer half and full day inshore fishing trips. Our boat can accommodate up to 4 anglers. There's no age requirement. As long as the child can securely fit in a life jacket, they are welcome to come on board

These waters are known for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Capt. David welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own.
You'll be dropping lines from a 22' Pirahna center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food on full-day trips and some light snacks for you on board.

Captain David Great trip with Captain David! We caught huge redfish and trout and even learned some new fishing techniques. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and made the whole experience fun. He knows where the good spots are at ! He also filleted the fish for us ! Highly recommend! thank you captain David !
Captain David was great. Put us on fish even though the weather was trying keep us down. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a guide who knows his way around the bay and where the fish are.
Great guide in Prime Gancho, really put us on the fish and treated my son like he was his own. If you are in the Houston area and are looking to catch a bunch, he is your man.
David was easy to get along with, came well prepared, and knew all the hot spots. We were snagging hits within the first few seconds of casting. Would book again the next time were in town.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
