There's a fish with your name on it and Double Header Sportfishing will help you catch it! With their captains at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
The charter offers both inshore and offshore trips (weather and seas permitting). Inshore species include Kingfish Mackerel, Rainbow Runner, Shark, Barracuda, Yellowtail Snapper, Tarpon, etc. Offshore species include Dolphin fish (Mahi), Wahoo, Tuna, Marlin, and Sailfish (in season). On these trips, it's common to live bait, troll, or bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard five years and older! Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You'll be casting lines from a 37' Calypso center console T-top that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a head, on board for your convenience. Double Header has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included.
Make sure to bring a camera, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be water, beer, and soda on board, if brand specific you are welcome to bring your own but we try to avoid glass on the boat.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Double Header Sportfishing!

Did the 2pm run and Nate was our captain for the half day. Had a little pow wow and decided to go out to the ledge and try out luck. Nate had us rigged in no time for some trolling and not 5 mins in had 2 on. Two rainbow runners. Reset the lines and the deep runner was spooling out less then 10 mins later with a wahoo then it just went nuts.. 2 more wahoo in less then 20 mins right on too a school of Tuna.. one being a monster skipjacks.. had 4 lines hooked up at once with only two of us.. 6 plus tunas landed with one broken off and one bite clean in half.. after then it was getting later and set up a slow troll on the way in that netted 3 Mahi Mahi to end the day. Nate was freaking fantastic.. stayed on point, cool and collected the whole time. I cant say you'll have this kinda luck but I hope you do. Back at the dock he cut up a nice selection of fish for us to take and even recommend local restaurants that can cook em up if needed. A Honeymoon adventure we will NEVER forget Nate with Double Head made a truly memorable experience Thanks Nate
This was easily one of the most intense and action-packed guided fishing trips I've ever experienced. These two guides absolutely know their craft—and they don't hold back. From the moment we got started, it was nonstop energy, strategy, and excitement. We were hooking into fish all day, landing Yellowtail, King Mackerel, and several other species. The action just kept coming, and every cast felt like it could turn into another great catch. If you're looking for a laid-back trip, this isn't it—this crew goes hard, and that's exactly what makes it so much fun. We had an incredible time and walked away with an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
This trip was amazing! my husband and I had a blast! I have been on a handful of ocean fishing trips and this was by far the best. Matt,our captain was well organized, very attentive,full of knowledge and answered every one of my 1000 questions 😉we caught a nice variety of fish and hubby caught a 30 pound amberjack.
We went out and caught our bait which was really fun to watch. It started off a little slow at first but my brother-in-law caught a tuna. We trolled for awhile after that and nothing else. We ended up moving and my husband caught a 5 ft reef shark and my nephew also caught one that was a little bigger. We had one or two more bites but didn't catch anything else. The trip was fun and exciting our captain did a great job. We would definitely book with him again!
I had a great day with my son on the water. We did a morning, four hour trip and had a great time! My son caught a wahoo while trolling initially and then we did some bottom fishing with plenty of action catching grouper and snapper before we headed back. Tyler is a great captain and will definitely book again. He worked hard to find the fish all morning and gave us a memorable experience on the water. Thank you!
