We had a great day on the fishing machine. Booking was easy and the booking manager answered all of our questions with and hour. As our trip was only 2 days after hurricane erin passed by, there were a lot of questions. On the day of, there was a mechanical problem with our boat. The boats are beautiful and well maintained, but as anyone who owns a boat knows, problems happen. We were grateful that the fishing machine charter actually has 4 boats at the marina and they just moved us to another boat. We went trolling. Everyone caught fish. Our party of 5 brought in 5 wahoo and 2 barracuda. Crew was amazing very patient with my 10 year old twins.

Fishing Machine was incredible! We had a very memorable trip. Communication was consistent and informative. Audie our driver was on time and polite. Very clean and safe vehicle was first class. The boat and crew were ready to go upon our arrival at the marina. Within 10 minutes of getting lines out we were Fish On! We caught three Mahi Mahi within 30 minutes. To no fault of the crew, the sea was angry that day, (but made for great fishing) We just had to cut the trip a little short due to some sea sickness. First Mate Francis worked his tail off. He was fishing guide and nurse at the same time. We still consider the experience a great one! We will be back to Fishing Machine.

After 6 hours on the water we caught 4 Mahi Mahi, 2 Barracuda and 1 Yellowtail Tuna! Captain Richard and Deckhand Francis were more than excellent. Some highlights / takeaways from the experience - 1. Communication with the Fishing Machine group was clear and consistent through Fishing Booker app messaging. This included coordination of hotel transfer to the marina that was more than 30 minutes away since our hotel reservation changed after this excursion was booked! They charged a fair price for this service which was 90 USD for round trip pick up from our hotel and the marina which was 45 minutes each way. 2. Flexible and secure payment. We paid the initial deposit using a credit card and they allowed Credit Cards (Digital and Non-Digital) to complete the payment on site. 3. Great vibes. Music was played throughout the trip and we were able to sit up top with the captain to enjoy the breeze and the views (we saw lots of flying fish and birds). Although the captain an deckhand mostly chatted with each other in Spanish they still took the time to answer our questions and help us angle all of our fish 4. Snacks and beverages were great. Snacks included chips and empenadas and beverages included water, soda, and beers of which we enjoyed. The only slight negatives were that the music playlist repeated after a certain point, we couldn’t measure our catches or keep them. However we didn’t bring a measuring tape, scale, or cooler so all of these could potentially be fixed if you brought these tools with! Excellent experience overall, 10/10 would highly recommend and go again!

We had a great time fishing with Fishing Machine Charters! They were very good with communication throughout the booking process. They helped to arrange transportation to/from our resort for an additional cost. Driver picked us up and took us directly to the boat. There were restrooms at the marina. We left out of Cap Cana, the boat and crew were ready to head out as soon as we arrived. They were all very nice people and insured our family had a great time. They had water, beer and snacks onboard. We had rough fishing conditions, since we fished on a day with 15-25mph winds. We expected that, it's a windy area, and we are experienced with offshore fishing, since we've been out several times in Ocean City, MD and Oregon Inlet, NC. Fishing was slow but the mates worked hard to switch out baits trying to catch as many fish as possible. We were fortunate to catch one beautiful mahi mahi, my 8-year old son's dream come true!! One thing to note, Fishing Machine Charters has several boats, and we didn't fish on the Fishing Machine boat, we fished on Vitamin Sea which was a very nice boat!! We plan to book another charter with them next time we are in the Dominican Republic.

These guys are amazing! Arranged picked from our hotel and to the marina. The captain and deck hands were great! We caught a monster Wahoo right off the bat, hooked into some marlin, and landed a sail fish. I highly recommend this boat. Very clean and knowledgeable.
