An unforgettable offshore adventure starts here. If you're in Santa Rosa Beach or along 30A, step aboard with Deep Charters and experience world-class Gulf fishing with Captain Jon—an experienced, knowledgeable captain who knows how to put you on fish.

These waters are home to Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Red Snapper, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, Vermilion Snapper, Cobia, Swordfish, Grouper, and more. Whether you're trolling offshore, bottom fishing the reefs, or kite fishing for pelagics, expect aggressive strikes and screaming drags. We fish with top-of-the-line Shimano tackle on custom rods, all meticulously maintained for peak performance.

Families are always welcome—kids included. We carry a full range of life vests, and you're encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to stay fueled throughout the trip.

You'll be fishing aboard a powerful 38' Fountain center console, equipped with triple Mercury 350s. Built for speed, comfort, and safety, the boat features outriggers, radar, FLIR, liferaft, and all required safety gear—giving you the range and confidence to reach the best fishing grounds.

All rods, reels, bait, and your fishing license are included. We use a variety of techniques, including live bait and artificial lures, to match conditions and maximize your catch.

A professional first mate will be onboard to assist throughout the trip—tips of 10–20% are customary and appreciated.

We provide ice and bottled water, plus a cooler for any additional drinks you'd like to bring. Alcohol is permitted in moderation (no glass bottles or hard liquor). Don't forget non-spray sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera—you'll want proof of what you catch.

Ready to fish? Send Captain Jon a message and let's get you on the water.

First time family fishing adventure
6 Hour Trip on April 17, 20264 adults
We scheduled last minute for a half day early morning family fishing trip. Capt John got us underway and discussed options. We decided to do a little trolling and caught some Mahi Mahi then moved on to do some bottom fishing. Once to Captain John’s location we caught Vermilion Snapper, a couple of Squirrel fish, and Trigger fish. One Trigger was very good size. We went back to trolling looking for something larger and lively. Wrapping up our adventure and heading in with a good number of keepers, Captain John saw some bait and activity. We trolled it a few passes but didn’t get the Wahoo we had hoped. Captain John took every opportunity to get us onto different and bigger fish. Heading back to dock we spotted dolphins. Being a family trip, Captain John afforded us a few minutes sightseeing to enjoy the dolphins. Back at the dock, Captain John and deckhand Wyatt cleaned our catch and even recommended a great restaurant, Jack-Acuda, to cook our fresh catch. It was phenomenal! Our one miss, or big regret, only booking a half day. Thanks to Captain John and Wyatt, we’ll see you again soon!

Great experience! made the most of less thab ideal sea conditions
6 Hour Trip on April 6, 20263 adults3 children
Captain John did a wonderful job getting my son and husband out deep sea fishing in less than ideal conditions on our last day of vacation. While you can’t control the weather - the captain made safety a priority and still managed to put the guys on fish in very windy, chilly conditions. red grouper and red snapper were the catxhes of the day. My son learned a lot from Captain John and they had a wonderful experience.

Lauren, thank you so much for the kind words! We’re glad we could still make it a great trip despite the windy week when you guys were visiting—safety is always our top priority. It’s awesome to hear your son had a chance to learn and enjoy the experience, and putting some red grouper and vermillion snapper in the box is always a bonus. He is quite the angler. We truly appreciate you fishing with us and hope to have your family back out again soon in Santa Rosa Beach with Deep Charters. Capt Jon

Outstanding Captain/Crew
12-14 Hour Trip – Bluewater / FAD on July 5, 20252 adults2 children
The weather made the water very choppy on the 5th, it made the ride very bumpy, there are bean bags on board that can help with a rough ride, but it didn’t stop us from getting on the fish. Caught a 4/5 foot bull shark about 80 miles out, several HardTails, saw a few Mahi Mahi close to surface but never was able to hook one. Captain J and his first mate were very knowledgeable and tried different methods to put us on these fish. We booked the Deep Sea FAD fishing trip. (12-4) hours.

Not worth the money
6 Hour Trip on May 6, 20263 adults1 child
I first want to say the boat was in great shape and very comfortable even with the higher seas. The captain Jon was a great host and really assisted my kids fishing needs. This is the second time i’ve chartered a boat in Florida and i would not ever do this again, the fishing both times has never come close to a enjoyable time or worth the money. I think the scam here is to bring you catch Vermillion Snapper which weight about a pound on a supposedly deep sea fishing trip. I’ve literally caught crappie that would avaerage more meat then these fish. Also both trips i have taken the captain always says they were just catching there yesterday, big fish, but all we catch is babies. This trip was $2k and we went home with a quart size bag of filets. Keep your money and go to a seafood market or a nice restaurant.
