These waters are known for Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Steelhead, Brown Trout, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. For these species, you're likely to troll. We find a few master angler steelhead every year. 2023 we had 3 in one month!!
Punisher Sport Fishing is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 33' Cruiser with room for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Would highly recommend Capts. Sean and Dan to anyone looking for a great fishing charter. Things started a bit slow for us…. but they kept at it even after our official time ended. And, sure enough, around 9:30 pm we hit the jackpot - 7 King Salmon (including a near 20 lb’er) and 1 Lake Trout. Lines were hitting one after another - and we were catching fish left and right. We had a great time, and Sean and Dan were amazing !!! Thank you for a great time - it was definitely our FAVORITE Great Lakes fishing charter 😁
Went out on an evening trip. Started slow…after the sun went down it was anything but slow…ended with a BANG! Caught 13 King Salmon total ranging from 7-18 lbs! At times had 6 being reeled in at once! Captain Shawn and Dan managed the lines expertly and were very knowledgeable! I wont go anywhere else!
Had such a wonderful experience out fishing today with our captain Dan. Everything was wonderful from the time we stepped on the boat until the time we got into our vehicle. Fish weren’t biting like they have been but I will tell you Dan did everything he could to make sure we had some bites, he was nonstop tracking the fish, changing the lures, calling his other fishing friends to see if they had any luck, we had caught more where Dan had us, he even played our favorite music for us!! 100% would do it again in a heartbeat.
My group had a lot of fun fishing this morning. The captain and crew are experienced Great Lakes fishermen and put us into our first hook up before sunrise. Action was steady all morning. We put ten in the box and had seven “profesional releases.” It was a good outing and I would book with these guys again.
