Join us aboard our 31ft Tiara for an action packed day of fishing on beautiful Lake Michigan. Ludington is the home to some of the best fishing the Great Lakes has to offer. We have a chance of catching a fish of a lifetime every time we hit the water and we have the unique opportunity to catch multiple species of trout and salmon on any given day. Our goal is for you to have an enjoyable experience on beautiful Lake Michigan.
Capt. Micah has been fishing the Great Lakes for as long as he can remember and charter fishing out of Ludington for over 20 years. Capt. Micah takes great pride in sharing what he knows about our fantastic Great Lakes fishery and looks forward to having the opportunity to fish with you.
We fish for King Salmon, Lake Trout, Steelhead, Coho Salmon, and Brown Trout.
If you're traveling with the family you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard!
You'll be fishing from a safe, clean and well equipped 31' Tiara fishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. Your fishing charter will come with everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Before coming aboard you'll need to buy a Michigan fishing license for everyone in your group age 17 and over. You can purchase a license online or at a sporting goods store like Captain Chucks in Ludington.
Some essentials to bring are multiple layers of clothes, sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and whatever you would like to eat and drink. Alcohol is allowed in moderation but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 20% tip.

We went out with Captain Micah for an evening trip. We ended up going 7 for 12 and had an awesome time. We will definitely be going out again with Hiatus Charters!
Captain and first mate worked hard to get fish in the boat. Well oiled crew. We did as good or better than other boats.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site is not included in trip rates.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
