Lake Erie Sportfishing Charters 

We had an awesome trip with Captain Tim! We left right on time and started the day fishing for yellow perch. The bite was a little slow at first, but it picked up and we caught plenty of fish and had a great time. We originally booked a walleye charter, but Captain Tim was upfront with us that the walleye bite hadn’t been great lately, so we decided to spend the last 2–2.5 hours trolling for them. We ended up landing 4 walleye, with 3 keepers, and had an absolute blast! Our 3- and 7-year-old had a great time catching fish and even loved helping everyone bait their hooks with minnows. Captain Tim was great with the kids and made the whole trip enjoyable for our family. We’ll definitely be booking with him again — next up is an April walleye trip!

Capt Jim got us on perch out near b-can this morning, despite an East wind. He taught us all perch catching techniques and even contributed to our overall totals. we throughly enjoyed our experience and Capt Jim’s hospitality and expertise.

From the abundance of fish and the experience Tim and Joe provided was second to none! Thank you gentlemen already looking to scratch a day off my schedule to get back out there!!

We put our trust in Captain Dustin for our son’s birthday gift and he did not disappoint. We did a 4 hour walleye trip and it was amazing! Dustin and his 1st mate, Bob knew where to find fish and how to put them in the boat. More importantly, they devoted a lot of attention to teaching the boys how to find fish and about the fishing rigs - how they work and how to deploy them. By the half way point of the trip, my son was setting rigs out on his own, it was awesome! I very much appreciate how the capt. engaged us in the entire process. The boat, the gear, the equipment were all top notch and The crew was amazing. We caught a variety of fish, including several walleye, white perch, yellow perch, sheepshead. The trip exceeded our expectations. The only change I would consider for our next trip is to go a full day instead of a half day! Go with Capt. Dustin and do a full day trip; you wont be disappointed!

We’ve done quite a few charters over the years but Cpt Tyler takes the cake as being the best experience we’ve had thus far. This was my 10 year old son’s first experience on Lake Erie, which Cpt Tyler knew ahead of time. And he was so focused on making sure that my son had an amazing time, which he did! He(Cpt Tyler) has young kids as well so he could relate to my sons excitement and was very patient with him and worked with him on how to “feel” the bites and makes sure he had an unforgetable time! We are absolutely going to plan a trip with him again and can’t wait for our next experience! If you’re looking for a great time with a great crew then Cpt Tyler is the man for the job! Highly recommend this start-up fishing charter company with Captain Dustin. Very patient, knowledgeable about the lake and fish in it, and uses unique fishing techniques that get the job done. Our first ever Father's Day fishing charter boat trip was an amazing success. Initially, we were catching lots of sheep head fish, and it took some time to find the walleye - but find it we did! Near the end, my husband reeled in the biggest fish he's ever caught before - a 24inch walleye! We came off the boat with 20 fish: 12 walleye, 2 white bass, and 6 sheep heads. We did put several sheep heads back, so could've easily rolled in with 30 fish. Hoping to make this an annual outing for our family. If you're looking to support local small business entrepreneurs, this would be it. SOME THINGS I HAD TO KEEP IN MIND ON THE BOAT: *It's a FISHING boat, so don't bother bringing a book, blanket, or any other type of sun lounging stuff. Sadly, I didn't get the chance to be a lady of leisure on the boat that day. :o) *If I did it over again, I would limit ourselves to bringing just one soft insulated cooler bag on the boat for beverages, and well, maybe one small tote or travel bag. Also be sure to bring at least one large empty cooler to leave in your vehicle for putting fish into when you're done. *Use the Roadside Stop restrooms along Hwy 2 prior to getting on the boat, and pace yourself with beverage intake while out on the boat.

Highly recommend Captain Tyler for an unforgettable fishing experience! If you have kids who want to try fishing, he’s absolutely the guide to go with. Captain Tyler is incredibly patient and knows exactly how to get the kids engaged—he teaches them in a way that’s fun, hand-in, and easy to understand. We had such a great day on the water that we have already booked an adult trip. Book with him—you won’t be disappointed!
