Walleye and Yellow Perch are the stars of the show here, and you can expect to catch them using light tackle with either drift fishing or trolling techniques.
Your trip begins aboard a 30-foot Baha cuddy cabin, complete with all the essentials and a convenient onboard bathroom. Erie Hooker provides everything you need for a successful trip, including rods, reels, lures, and bait.
Just don't forget to pick up a local fishing license for everyone in your group before your trip! You can find more information online or ask the captain.
Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, snacks, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. No hard liquor or glass bottles.

Been taking charters for 25 years
Captain Derrow and his first mate are incredible. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He put us on the fish both days. He made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and caught fish. The boat was very nice it handled the 3 foot waves very well. The equipment was top shelf was also impressed with the large selection of lures. It was by far the best charter I have ever had at lake Erie in 25 years. I would highly recommend Captain Derrow to anyone. I can't wait to charter with him again. If you charter with him you will never charter with another Captain. You will feel the same way I do. I consider him a friend and fortunate that your lives crossed paths. Thank you Captain Derrow

Guys Family Walleye Trip
Just wanted to say thank you to Captain Mike at Erie Hooker for a fun time on Lake Erie! Our trip consisted of the "guys" in our family, my father, myself, my son and my two brother-in-laws. This was the first time any of us had gone on a fishing charter. We had a lot fun catching walleye. We trolled the entire time. Captain Mike was awesome, helping set the lines and bring in the fish. Booked Erie Hooker for my husband, sons, and grandson! They had a great morning trip and were successful with catching walleye. They were very impressed with how hard the captain and first mate worked to make sure they caught plenty of fish and had a great time. Great day with Erie Hooker
Captain Mike and Nate were terrific. They know the fish and how to catch them. Took my 5 year old daughter with us and they couldn’t have been better with her. She had a blast. They were patient with her and helped her reel in several fish. Erie Hooker will be our first choice for our next walleye excursion. Thanks Nate and Capt. Mike!
