Tail Chaser Fishing Charters invites you to enjoy a day of Walleye fishing aboard the Tail Chaser around the Lake Erie Islands. Captain Mike specializes in trolling for Walleye and is able to accommodate up to six guests per trip.
Fishing the Lake Erie Islands area means you are in for some serious fishing action as this region is well known throughout the world for Walleye fishing. Fishing is excellent from mid-April through November 1.
Captain Mike owns and operates a Pursuit Offshore performance fishing boat, originally built in 2002 with a capacity for up to 6 guests. Powered by twin 454 Crusader engines with a maximum cruising speed of 24 knots, the Pursuit has a 12' beam and is very reliable on the water. The search for the fish is aided by GPS and a fishfinder, and the catch is stored in the available ice-box. There is a electric flush toilet on board for your convenience, as well as all the safety equipment needed.
Tail Chaser Fishing Charters carry all the fishing gear so you don't have to. They provide Shakespeare rods and reels, tackle, a variety of lures, and live bait. The first mate is on board to help you with baiting your hooks and reeling in your fish. They work extremely hard to make your trip an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Please note, anyone 16 and older you are to obtain a fishing license in accordance with the State of Ohio fishing regulations. You are welcome to bring food and drinks on the trip, as well as hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing. NO COWBOY BOOTS, STEEL TOED, HARD BLACK SOLED WORK BOOTS. Soft soled shoes or rubber boots are fine. Also pack light there is limited room for multiple coolers, backpacks on board. Customers are responsible for fish cleaning, there is a fish-cleaning station in the marina or there is Bays Edge Fish Cleaning Service 10 minutes from the dock, and they are cash only.

Could not have asked for a better charter with my wife and our son!! Had great weather. Capt Mike got us on the fish!! We caught our limit as well. We cannot say enough about Capt Mike!!! What started out as a questionable choppy water day turned out to be a great fishing experience. Captain Mike put us on the fish and we were catching until we told him we had enough fish! The walleye were not biting very good at the beginning, but Captain Mike stayed with it and kept us on the fish. We hit our limit. Captain was great boat and gear great. Highly recommend Tail Chaser fishing charter. Already planning the next trip.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
