Treasure Coast Charter Co. is all about fishing the stunning waters of Fort Pierce.

Species like Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Amberjack, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Red Snapper, and more are in the cards if conditions are right. During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Capt. Andrew will bring you aboard the Gypsy, a 42’ Post offshore sport fishing boat, that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a custom set of rods, and all the tackle you’ll need. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience and a full air-conditioned salon with a TV, couch, refrigerator, and two bedrooms.

Capt. Andrew will supply rods and reels for you. Live bait is included, whether it is bought at the bait boat or caught by yourself. In the event no live bait is available you will always have ballyhoo, squid, sardines, and multiple other frozen baits readily available in the freezer. Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 15-20% tip is customary.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
