Looking for a fishing adventure? Let Stop Drop & Reel guide your fishing adventure. Captain Jeff has been fishing off the Fort Lauderdale coast line for over 16 years. We are passionate about fishing. We will ensure that your adventure is exciting, fun and safe.
The Florida coast line holds an amazing variety of game fish like Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Swordfish, Tilefish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Scorpionfish, Yellowtail Snapper, and more. You will use techniques such as trolling, drifting, jigging, deep dropping and bottom fishing based on the trip you reserve and the conditions of the day. You can keep what you catch as long as it is legal to keep, some species may be out of season or under sized.
You will board a 28' Key West center console that can carry up to a party of 4.The vessel is equipped with sonar, depth finder, radar, auto pilot, outriggers and two live wells. There is also a fish box for your catch. You will use nothing but quality gear to enhance your fishing experience. Your fishing license's and permits are provided by the captain.
A cooler with ice is provided for your snacks/food and beverages. Complimentary water will be available for you. South Florida weather recommends you bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses,(polarized if you have them), and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, no hard liquor and no glass bottles please. There is also convenience facilities on board.

On a final note some people can or will experience sea sickness (motion sickness). It is recommended to bring or take something of your choice for sea sickness prior to your trip.

Had an awesome day with CPT Jeff and my son. A slow morning pulling nothing but weeds turned into a trip I will remember for the rest of my life… Jeff’s hard work and perseverance led us to continue into deeper waters, we eventually found some birds that led to a Mahi and from there a nice school that yielded a limit of Mahi for my son and I. Fishing days like that don’t happen often. Jeff is also a great guy and treated us much more like friends than clients. Thanks Jeff. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking to fish or just spend a day on the water and I am hopeful we will be able to fish again.
Captain Jeff was wonderful! His communication leading up to the trip was excellent, and he kept us updated on the sea conditions. We traveled with our two 8-year-olds, and Captain Jeff was fantastic with them. When the seas turned out to be a bit too rough for us, he was incredibly flexible. He quickly adjusted the plan, moving closer to shore so the kids could still catch a few fish, and even took us to a great spot where they could get out and swim. The boat was spotless and well-equipped. I highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Jeff!

I have never felt more welcome or at ease on a charter. The boat and the head were spotless. The gear was top-notch and an excellent working order .The captain being a local is very knowledgeable of the waters and techniques needed to produce a catch. Captain Jeff worked hard and did put us on some fish .At the end of the charter the fish were cleaned and bagged,we will be eating good for quite awhile. Thanks Captain.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
