If you're ready to start fishing in Quitman, look no further than Lake Fork Premier Guide Service. Your guide for the day is Captain Ryker, which allows you to benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. For these species, you're likely to use light or heavy tackle.
Lake Fork Premier Guide Service is a child-friendly charter service, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your adventure begins aboard a 20' Phoenix bass boat with room for 2 passengers. The number of passengers varies from species targeted. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. It's always wise to bring sunscreen and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Lake Fork Premier Guide Service!

We did the all day bass trip and even though we didn't catch a lot of fish due to the pressure from a fishing tournament and a lot of bass still on beds, our Captain still did his best to keep us moving around to parts of the lake he thought they might be biting better. He was very knowledgeable about his gear and equipment, showed my friend and I plenty of little tricks to take home with us, if nothing else. We will definitely try again for a better day with him. He kept good communication, was polite and respectful, made a point to learn and use first names right off the bat.
i booked with Ryker based on feedback that I saw on the Fishbooker app for a guided teip on Lake Fork with my 11 year old son and his best friend. Ryker was a great guide-very patient and he worked hard to get us on fish. In addition to that, he took the time to show my son and his friend how to properly use a bait caster. It was a great day with some great memories with my son and I’m truly appreciative of that. If you are considering doing a guided fishing trip on Lake Fork, you definitely want to use this guy! He knows the lake very well!
We went out on a morning Crappie fishing trip with Ryker and he took excellent care of me and my father in law. This was a gift for my father in law who loves to fish but never manages to catch anything. We had 11 Crappie within 40 minutes of stepping into the boat and ended the day with 42 - most of them my father in law’s! Would recommend him to anyone looking to catch some fish on Lake Fork.
Fishing Lake Fork was a bucket list for me and my son and Ryker came through with tough windy conditions and storms the previous days. He found the fish and we caught some nice Largemouth Bass! Ryker was prepared and very knowledgeable, helpful, and fun to fish with! I highly recommend Ryker and will definitely use his services in the future!! GREAT TRIP!!

Ryker was such a great guide, he showed my son alot of techniques and put him in the best possible position to catch a fish. Cant wait to be back! Highly recommend Ryker.
