You will go out aboard a 20' Nitro bass boat, which was originally built in 2000 and uphauled in 2017. It comes powered by a 225 HP Mercury which enables a dry and safe ride to the fishing grounds. Perfect for accommodating up to 2 anglers, the vessel is rigged with modern navigational electronics and safety equipment.
Fishing Lake Fork with one of the most experienced guides is a rewarding experience. The trips are half and full days, depending on your personal preference. You will be fishing for Largemouth Bass, for which the reservoir is famous. The lake produces somewhat the largest Bass and is abundant with those tasty monsters.
If you are a big fan of Largemouth Bass, the fishing is most productive during the spring with its peak from mid-February to April, fall, and winter months. Summer is also a good idea to chase it. Capt. Dennis prefers bottom fishing and jigging fishing techniques, as well as light tackle and heavy tackle. In order to protect the lake's resources, Dennis is a strong advocate of catch-and-release.

Even though we didn’t catch any fish, I still had an amazing time out on the water! The captain worked really hard throughout the trip and did his best to put us on some fish. I truly appreciate his effort and dedication. It was still a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try again and hopefully land my dream bass next time!
Fish weren’t biting but er had a wonderful experience with Captain Dennis Canads. The purpose of our trip as to give my 8;year old grandson a great fishing experience. Captain Canada delivered on a day when the fish just weren’t biting much. He basically spent the entire day tirelessly working with and teaching, one on onev, the 8year old. What could have been a frustrating day was rescued by Captain Canada.

Overall great time! great guide, great stories. My son and i will be booking with him again here in the newr future!! And with a name like Dennis Canada you know hes good!
My son and I booked Dennis for a 6 hour trip in March. Conditions weren't in our favor, however Dennis did his best to move to different locations to give us the best odds. He's great with kids and makes sure it's never a dull moment. Would definitely recommend booking him, as we will be returning soon to go after another PB.
