You'll be welcome aboard a 37' Cabo Flybridge sportfishing vessel with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, a fully air-conditioned cabin, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Ikena has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Our trip with Imua Fishing Charters was absolutely amazing in every way possible. The crew was incredibly professional, friendly, and made the entire experience unforgettable from start to finish. The boat was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, and you could tell they truly care about giving everyone a first-class experience. The fishing was outstanding, and the crew went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time and stayed comfortable the entire trip. What impressed us even more was how attentive and caring they were with the kids who got seasick. Even in the middle of all the action, the crew made sure the kids were well taken care of, comfortable, and checked on constantly. That level of care and professionalism really stood out and meant a lot to our family. Their knowledge, positive attitude, and attention to detail made the day even better than we expected. Every part of the experience — from the boat, to the crew, to the fishing itself — was absolutely top notch. If you’re looking for an incredible fishing charter in Hawaii, I highly recommend Imua Fishing Charters. We’ll definitely be coming back!
My wife and I went out for 4hrs mid-day and she'd never fished before. Next thing you know, she catches a really big Wahoo for dinner for several days. Then I lost a big Marlin when it cut the line. They made this happen for us when nobody else was catching fish. Captain Ikena and Sheldon were born and raised here and absolutely know what they're doing. They are also just really good people, entertaining and the guys who make it rain when others can't buy a strike. We will be back next time. Even if we didn't catch anything, we would still highly recommend them. They are the best shot you've got to catch fish in Kauai.
We did the 8 hour charter and had a slow start for the first couple hours, but then the fish started biting and didnt stop! Every time things slowed down the crew knew exactly where to move for more action. We ended up with two big yellowfin and 13 skipjacks! On top of being expert fisherman, Ikena and Dylan were awesome hosts, had great energy and really made the whole experience even better.
My family, grandfather, son in laws, and our boys went on this trip. We all had an amazing time. This crew, to say the least were all you could ever want. Lots of knowledge, great company, and took care of us. Seriously one of the best fishing trips I’ve been on. The only bummer was that we weren’t going again with them tomorrow. Thanks guys!
We have enjoyed fishing on our vacations in the past. This was the best trip that we have been on. Dillon worked hard to keep lines in the water and was so so good with our boys!! Randy was great, he kept the boat moving into the fish. The waters were rough and he kept the boat ride as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend fishing with Imua and we will be back and ask for Randy and Dillon again.
