PWC Salmon Angler has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Campbell River. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Marc can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Chum Salmon, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Marc also offers fly fishing.
Any fish within the legal limit are yours to keep. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. Enjoy it later that day or pack it away for months later.
Children are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You’ll find yourself aboard a 21’ Campion cuddy cabin with room for 4 passengers. It has downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
