These waters are known for Amberjack, Sheepshead, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Redfish, Mackerel, Red Snapper, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. During the trip you might be fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 24’ Sea Fox center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait and frozen bait provided.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask your captain, and he can tell you more. A few items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, bottled water/drinks, snacks, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is BYOB. If you are in need of lodging feel free to ask, as we own several condos in the Gulf Shores, Al area.
