Spend the day in St. Bernard Parish fishing with Capt. Jaron Thomas and get hooked on the beautiful fishery of Southeast Louisiana!
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Redfish, Sheepshead, along with a few other surprise catches. On the day of your trip, you're likely to drift and fish with popping corks and light tackle spinning setups.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll find yourself aboard a 24' Skeeter with a capacity for 5 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Jaron has rods and reels for you, along with live shrimp!
You will need to buy a Louisiana Saltwater Charter license. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be water on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

was a great experience. i’ve fished plenty and the best guide to have is one that wants to catch more fish than the anglers. Thats the case here. He kept us moving and active. Most importantly he was good with my 9 year old son who has more questions than a game show. We will be back!!!!

Jaron was best Captain ever put us on fish and we stayed on them we got our limit and man did we catch some big ones we are planing a trip for next year just to come fish with Jaron.cant thank him enough his boat was immaculate and his gear was on point just a good time kept us laughing all day long I don’t know

Thank you. You guys were an awesome and fun group. Looking forward to next year!

We had a spectacular day catching Redfish with Captain Jaron. We had our limit by 9:30am, he kept the action coming by moving to the next location when he sensed we covered the waters. Fished all day and released 3 limits of reds 16” to 34”.
Great time fishing with Capt. Jaron he knows his stuff and will not let you down and put you on some fish definitely recommend it to everybody!!!

I began fishing when I was 4 years old and have fished nonstop since then. The outdoors is my passion and I enjoy teaching about it more than anything.
