On your fish and fun fishing trip, we will target Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Snook, Redfish, Sheepshead, Pompano, Permit, Shark, Cobia, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, King and Spanish Mackerel, and more. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. We also offer fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Kids are always welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available, But you can bring your own for comfort. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Your trip will take place on one of our many vessels that are ideal for a succesful day of fishing, all of our boats can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials that no fishing vessel can run without. We provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is also included.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain and he can tell you more.

It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and drinks or snacks. Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Please tip your captain accordingly.

So many FISH!!!

We booked a charter late the noght before due to incoming weather. Captain Jamie showed up on time and was ready. Even with the short notice he made us feel comfortable. Captain Jamie took us to a couple spots and immediately got us on fish. We had a couple avid fishermen in our group and a few of us not so much. We all caught a number of fish. on our third spot we caught ao many types of fish it was crazy. My husband and son, both caught puffer fish. This charter was fabulous we will definitely be hitting up Captain Jamie the next time we are in the area.

Great afternoon on the water

3 Hour Trip Fish N Fun (4PM) on July 12, 2025 • 4 adults • 1 child

We had an excellent afternoon with Captain Danny. At our request, he gave us a quick tour around the bay to help us get familiar with the area before our boat rental the next day. He clearly explained the channels and pointed out important things to watch for. Captain Danny also taught us how to spot bait fish on the surface, which was really helpful. Afterward, he took us out to the reef, where we caught several different species and even had an exciting fight with a ray. To finish the trip, he brought us to the sandbar, where we had fun searching for shells. Highly recommend!

We went for a 2 hour charter, caught a bunch of fish, and had one of the best experiences with our guide Taylor!! He is so knowledgeable and was willing to share it with us to help us understand, was such a joy to talk with as a person, and was just so fantastic all around! The next time we do another charter we will for sure ask for him by name!! It was a 12/10 experience for us!

4 Hr – Inshore/Nearshore on May 19, 2025 • 5 adults

Scheduled a four hour trip with AMI Charters. Actually didn't realize it went through Fishing Booker but everything still went smoothly. Captain Jamie picked us up at the dock, briefly explained what we could expect for fish as well as how we would fish for them. He took us to multiple spots where we probably caught somewhere in the neighborhood of 40-50 fish. Species we caught were trout, mackerel, grouper, grey snapper, pufferfish, mangrove snapper, and pompano. Nothing big but good action. Our captain also took us to a dolphin nursery area where we got to see a family up close. An added bonus was seeing a couple manatees by the gulf. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone looking to catch a good number of fish but at the same time being reasonable about the size because, once again we didn't catch anything big. Also, four hours was plenty of time to get the full experience.

Great adventure with kids

Booked this 2 Hr fishing trip for teen son and me, and we had a great time. Our Captain, Jeff, was personable and engaging. Jeff knew a lot about the islands and the wildlife, and highlighted several points of interest on our ride out to fish. This trip is great for those who fish often (like my son) and folks who don't (like me)! We caught several different types of fish and even saw dolphins. We had a great time and would highly recommend this trip and the Captain when visiting the AMI area.
