If you’re ready to experience fishing in Tampa, look no further than Nomad Charters.

These waters are known for Snook, Blacktip Shark, Tarpon, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Redfish, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" You can expect to do some spinning, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Nomad Charters are kid-friendly, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own.

Your vessel for the day is a 22’ E-Tech bay boat with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Don’t leave home without sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
