Reel and Relax is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Osprey.
Species like Snook, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the time of year. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, popping, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Reel and Relax is a child-friendly charter service, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 21’ Sea Pro center console with space for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Had a great day with Ryan!
Our family of four fished @ 8 am and had a great time. Ryan took us from Osprey down to the Venice area. Ryan had plenty of bait and found several spots where the fish were biting. We caught jacks, snappers, catfish, and pinfish. We had a few that were keepers. Super nice guy and very patient. My daughter even caught a boat lift on a dock and Ryan had to troll the boat up to the dock to release the hook from the lift. He was very courteous and professional. At the end of our time, he filleted the fish for us to take home.

Ryan is a pro captain!!
We’ve fished from South Padre Island all the way across the Gulf of America to Venice, Fl. Ryan provided us a fine 4-5 hours of Florida fishing. His attentiveness to us was unparalleled & we had a fine trip. His boat and equipment was clean & was first rate. He was very organized on the boat, we wanted for nothing! Ryan was great. He contacted us about switching days because the day we had scheduled. The weather was not going to be good. We changed it to the next day. The weather still wasn’t great but Ryan was. He tried very hard to get us on the fish. He was great with the boys and us adults also. We finally got on to some fish towards the end. We even hit the inland slam. Thanks Ryan for a great day

We caught 6 keepers and about 10 smaller fish. Captain Ryan was great at instructing us and teaching us. Everyone landed fish and we saw a couple of dolphins
