Your trip begins aboard a 25’ Blazer Bay center console with room for 5 passengers. It comes with state-of-the-art electronics and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I went on a guided trip on Lake Texoma with Captain Kenneth Zachary. After the freeze, the fishing was tough for me although I do pretty well winter fishing on my own. Ken told me the plan and it sounded like he was cooperating with the fish :). We went to the first spot and started catching huge fish right away. We caught about 7 oversized fish, and kept only 2. Ken took us to a different spot to catch some box fish. We were catching both large ones and box fish mixed. We caught 4 more large and about 5 box fish. After a while, we were catching only large ones. What a problem to have :). Overall, it was great fishing with Ken. He is calm, funny and he knows the lake extremely well. I strongly recommend Ken's services to anybody who wants a smooth, relaxing and catching type of a fishing trip.
