There's a fish with your name on it in Port Aransas and Marks guide service will help you catch it! Captain Mark will be your guide, bringing aboard years of angling experience.

There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, Pompano, Redfish, and more with any luck. On these trips, you can expect to use light tackle.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You'll be casting lines from a 24' Haynie center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Mark will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

If there's more you'd like to know about fishing with Marks Guide Service, feel free to send Capt. Mark a message down below.

Top Water Action
Club Pipeliners Tournament on June 6, 20264 adults

Great day out on the water for Pipeliners! The morning topwater bite for Reds was a sureal experience! Will be using Mark on future trips to Port Aransas. Boat was top notch and can easily handle large groups, kids too. No need to bring any gear before hand, Mark came prepared for the group.

Great guide
4 Hour Trip on July 10, 20251 adult1 child

Captain Mark was great. Be accepted a last minute request and was a true professional about it. The fishing was tough but he put his resources and knowledge to use. He tried several areas and talked with other guides to get us on fish. He's a great guide and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Good guide service, would use again
4 Hour Trip on October 13, 20254 adults

Took my family - me, wife, 18 yr old, and 13 yr old on 1/2 day bay trip. We each caught a slot redfish, and one speckled trout. Capt. Mark was knowledgeable and took us to where the fish were. He was patient with my family and I and stayed longer to try to catch more fish. Although the bite was a little slow, we had a great time. I wouldnt hesitate to use Capt. Mark again.
