These waters are known for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, Haddock, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), Thresher Shark, Porbeagle Shark, Blue Shark, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few!

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Forte Guide Service welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!

You’ll be casting lines from a 26’ Center console that can carry up to 5 passengers. It has and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
