Hooked Up Sport Fishing Boston
If you're ready to have fun fishing in Winthrop, look no further than Hooked Up Sport Fishing Boston. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Gino is prepared to put you on fish.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Striped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), Bluefin Tuna, Haddock, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be casting lines from a 26' Mako center console with space for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Hooked Up Sport Fishing Boston!

We caught so many striped bass that we became clinically intoxicated on fish. At some point, the rods stopped being fishing equipment and became emergency-response devices. Fish were coming over the rail faster than we could emotionally process them. Doubles. Triples. Absolute striped-bass bedlam. The captain didn’t merely find the fish - he appeared to have scheduled a mandatory staff meeting with the entire Atlantic striped bass population directly beneath the boat. Every time the action slowed for approximately nine seconds, he moved us thirty feet and resumed the aquatic violence. By the end, our arms had failed, our grip strength was gone, and we were staring glassy-eyed across the water like survivors of an extremely successful maritime incident. We arrived as recreational fishermen and returned as shell-shocked commercial deckhands. Outstanding captain. Incredible trip. Completely unreasonable quantity of fish. Five stars - and I may need physical therapy.

Brandon, thank you for the review. We certainly shared a trip for the books. That was the best review i have ever recieved. Hope to see you all again!

Gino and crew are the some of the Boston best when it comes the harbor. He's the captain you didn't expect, but the crew you're glad to have around when the Bass are chewing. No frills, no empty promises, nothing complicated. Just a crew that genuinely loves to fish and leaves a lasting impression. I've spent more than half a dozen combination days and nights out and the Hooked-up crew has it dialed in. The train is always moving; A head on a swivel quickly adapting to the fishing seasons needs on a moments notice. A hard working crew that doesn't forget to have fun. If you are just visiting the Boston area and looking to get your first Striped Bass, or, just want a low key charter with a bunch of buds, Gino and the Hooked-Up crew is a Top Notch choice.

Travis, thanks for the review. We always enjoy having you out on our fishing trips.

This was my third trip with Capt Gino and Hooked Up Sportsfishing in Boston Harbor and he doesn't disappoint! Gino knows these waters and where all the fish are hiding. He's constantly looking for fish and everyone was able to catch multiple fish and some keepers as well. Gino is great at communicating so booking was super easy. His mate Toro took care of all the passengers and got the gear set up and ready to go. Needless to say, customer service was great! Night fishing with live eels is a unique experience that not many charters offer and I highly recommend it!

Thank you for the review Paul. It was a pleasure fishing with you. I look forward to our trips together in the future.
Based on a slow day yesterday, Capt Gino suggested we get an earlier start than scheduled. The mornjng started off very slow, without much action even for bait fish! But Gino kept at it, moving us around the harbor. He even extended the trip a little bit. We ultimately released a 32 inch striper and kept two 31 inch stripers, plus 2 more that got away. Good day fishing in the end. Great captain and mate.

Kalon, thank you for the review. It was a tough start but im happy we got it done.
