At High Times we offer fun trips for a family outing with the kids and serious anglers alike. We target many species such as Red Drum (or locally called Redfish), Red Snapper, Mangrove Anapper, Cobia (aka Ling or Lemonfish), King and Spanish Mackerel, Sharks, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, and many other species that inhabit our barrier islands, which are located 10 miles off the coast, and the Gulf of Mexico beyond.

The vessel is a 38ft Henriques Sportfish. It's fully equipped with a spacious air-conditioned cabin with plenty of seating, a private restroom, upper bridge seating for great views, a large back deck with plenty of fishing space, and outriggers. It is powered with twin 370 horsepower Cummins engines ensuring a quick and reliable run to and from the fishing grounds. I have added many updates to the vessel, including side-scanning sonar capabilities to ensure you spend more time fighting fish and less time finding them.

We offer offshore trips of 4, 6, and 8 hours, as well as offshore red snapper trips when red snapper season opens. At High Times Charters it is not just about catching fish, which you will certainly do, but about making memories to last a lifetime while filling the ice chest with your delicious catch. And don't forget, our professional deckhand will take care of fileting and bagging your catch for easy transport home!

I look forward to showing you true Southern hospitality aboard soon!

Remember, you can't catch them at the dock, but you can with High Times Charters!

NEW FOR THE SEASON! 4HR AND 6HR PM trips available upon message request! Shoot me a message if interested in an afternoon trip!

Great fun had by all!
4–Hour Offshore Island trip on September 6, 20264 adults1 child

We booked the morning four hour trip and for starters the sunrise was unbelievable!! Captain Charlie headed out and took great care to find us the best spot. The deckhand, Ross, set up all the lines in the water while we trolled for our catch. We did get to reel the fish in when they were caught and Ross was right there to help if needed. In our four hour trip we caught 2 Caravelle Jack, 2 Red Fish, a catfish, and a black tip reef shark! We had a few large fish on the lines a couple of other times but one bit thru the line and the others got loose. I strongly suggest the morning trip if you go when its hot outside, as it got really hot towards the end of our trip but the boat had a “living area” inside, out of the elements, that is air conditioned. That was fantastic when needed! The only complaint I had was that the deckhand smoked. It wasnt too bad as he stood out of the way of everyone but Im overly sensitive to cigarette smoke. That man worked his butt off though and cleaned our catch with the masterful hands of a surgeon. We would definitly go again with High Times!! Thank you Captain Charlie and Ross!

Had a Great Time!
6–Hour Offshore Island Trip on June 27, 20265 adults

We did a 6 hour offshore trip with our three teens and had a blast. The fish were slow to bite, so Captain Ben took us to catch shark. Amazing experience! We also caught Spanish Mackrel, Jack Cravel, Black Tip Shark, & Bull Reds. We kept deckhand, Kaden, busy! He was very knowledgeable & attentive. Can't wait to do it again!

3 hr Inshore Light Tackle on March 27, 20263 adults3 children

We’re from the Midwest, came to the beach for spring break & decided to try something crazy! We took our 4 kids (ages 8-13) for a 4 hour ride, caught 13 sharks! The kids will NEVER forget this! Highly recommend High Times, Ben was a great Captain & Ross was so helpful as our deckhand. We even ate our shark and everyone loved it!

I started fishing on the MS Gulf Coast as a young child. Some of my first and fondest childhood memories are learning on the water with my dad and grandad. That passion only grew over my life, and I started charter fishing the MS Gulf Coast professionally in 2007. I ran my first solo charter trip for another owner in 2010 after getting my captain credentials and maintained captaining that vessel for 2 charter seasons. I wanted to grow and learn, however, so I moved on and then I worked with other charter companies in Biloxi over the next 13 years across our local fleet. I was first mate on a 52ft custom-built catamaran mentoring under IGFA Hall of Fame Captain Jay Trochesset for several years. Thereafter, as captain with 2 other businesses chartering vessels up to 37ft running trips up to 12 hours in length with the occasional overnight trip. I recently purchased High Times Charters and their 38ft Henriques sportfish as one of our longstanding local captains retired after running the business in the 1980's. The vessel has a comfortable air-conditioned cabin with plenty of seating room, a private restroom, upper bridge seating for beautiful views, and a large back deck with plenty of fishing space. It is powered with twin 370 horsepower Cummins engines ensuring a quick and reliable run to and from the fishing grounds. I have added many updates to the vessel, including side-scanning sonar capabilities to ensure you spend more time fighting fish and less time finding them. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with future guests, and also bringing High Times Charters into a new age of success! At High Times we offer fun trips for a family outing with the kids and serious anglers alike. We target many species such as Red Drum (or locally called Redfish), Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia (aka Ling or Lemonfish), King and Spanish Mackerel, Sharks, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, and many other species that inhabit our barrier islands, which are located 10 miles off the coast, and the Gulf of Mexico beyond. Remember, you can't catch them at the dock, but you certainly can with us at High Times Charters!
