If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 24' Robalo center console that can carry up to 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods, reels, and dead bait. Live bait is available at market price.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Bottled water is provided free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Sometimes an old  fisherman has a great day. If your lucky you find that guide.  I did today with Isiadro.  He lived in Montana and understood  the Missoula spirit for an old man fishing.  One More Cast  was the outfitter.  I had done well and lacked one more trout.  Isiadro told me the story of his father and thus One More Cast was born in his childhood.  Destiny his boat his wife's gift to him a great surprise. If you get lucky enough to go fishing with this guide.  You will have a great day to remember along with fish like me. 
Our catch was three trout limit.  Four to five thrown back, three drum thrown back. I kept only one drum.  Two nice sand trout.  Three sharks thrown back with a wonderful fight. Oh yes, I may not have many great days left but that Saturday morning was truly one of those great days.

What an EXPERIENCE!!!!

First of all, the captain was amazing and has a great sense of humor.  For months, my daughters have wanted me to take them fishing.  And now that they have, they want to go again.  We've done a lot of activities this summer and they said that this fishing trip was better than their visit to Great Wolf Lodge.  The experience was amazing.  It was fun.  The captain didn't rush our time and took us to different spots.  We caught more than 45 fish; most we kept.  It's a must that we go again......with this captain.

Captain Izzy was amazing. The boat was well stocked and ready to go when I arrived. I had forgotten my license so Captain Izzy helped me navigate the app so we were all legal before we left the dock. The first fish I caught was a 38 inch Red Drum which made the whole trip for me. I would highly recommend Captain Izzy and the One More Cast!

Fishing with "One More Cast" was a Total Blast!!!

Bucket List Bull Reds with Capt. Izzy – Epic Solo Charter in Galveston!

Had an incredible solo fishing trip today with Captain Izzy out in Galveston! 🎣 From start to finish, he was patient, friendly, and knew exactly where to take us to get on the big boys. Ended up landing some bull reds and even caught my personal best, officially checking that off my 2025 bucket list!

If you’re ever in Galveston and want a captain who knows his stuff, don’t hesitate! When in doubt, let Capt. Izzy take you out! I’ll definitely be booking with him again soon.
