Capt. Chase specializes in Lowcountry flats and shallow water angling.
Whether you are an experienced fly or spin caster, or you're simply looking for a unique experience in the marsh, each charter will be an individually tailored opportunity.
Depending on the time of year, we could target Redfish, Tripletail, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, Black Drum, and Cobia.
Capt. Chase runs a 2022 Hell's Bay Professional. A shallow water flat’s skiff that has proven itself over the rest for years. All rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter as well as all Georgia and South Carolina fishing licenses.
Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Captain Chase is an active member of the Georgia Saltwater Angler's Association, Captains for Clean Water, and fully endorses the catch-and-release philosophy for most species. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.
If you’re looking for a unique fishing trip, not your run-of-the-mill charter, then take a look at availability and let’s go fish.

Captain Simpson is very knowledgeable of the waters around Savannah. His experience and dedication to the sport makes him an excellent guide. I would recommend him to anyone.

Thank you Jack, looking forward to fishing with you again soon!

Chase was awesome and very cool experience “hunting” redfish in the low country….Chase carries spin and fly reels for flexibility. He knows the fishery and tides well to optimize the fishing!

Chase was a great captain and very knowledgeable of the waters around the Savannah area. We caught 3 solid bull reds on a 6 hour trip, wish we could've stayed longer!
We had a great day on the water with Captain Chase! He is a real pro, knowledgeable, friendly, and knows the waters. Caught some huge fish! Highly recommend this charter. Looking forward to booking again!
Captain Chase worked hard to put us on fish all day. He was enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. We fished multiple locations including some unique shallow waterways. We had a great day on the water.
Capt. Chase offers a lifetime of experience in the outdoors. A Georgia native, he grew up fresh water fishing on Lake Lanier and salt water fishing in the estuaries around Savannah. Carrying rod and gun by the age of five, Capt. Chase offers a very unique experience on the flats and in the creeks of the Savannah marsh that most charters simply cannot offer. Specializing in Fly Fishing and Light Tackle fishing in a fishery that offers opportunity year round. Come experience what the Lowcountry has to offer!
