MJ's Sportfishing Charters – St. Joseph River 

If you're here to make the most of fishing in Berrien Springs, look no further than MJ's Sportfishing Charters. We move to indiana waters in March to finish the steelhead season.

Species like Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Salmon, and more are in the cards if conditions are right. During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Your trip begins aboard a 24' Starcraft aluminum fishing boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels.

Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
