Originator Fishing Charters – 36’
Originator Fishing Charters welcomes you to the stunning waters of Lake Michigan. With Captain Jerry at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Steelhead, Brown Trout, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, and who knows what else! You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids 5 years and older are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. A First Mate may be available upon request. Message the captain for details about adding a mate to your trip.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 36’ Tia offshore sport fishing with room for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Jerry will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Don’t forget to bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Originator Fishing Charters!
