Depending on the season, you might hook into Smallmouth Bass, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, Chinook Salmon, Walleye, and who knows what else! For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.

Trips with Originator Fishing Charters are great for kids, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Capt. Jerry operates the Originator 2, a 26' JC Pontoon boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray).  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
