Hey, come on over and enjoy all Bay City has to offer. Seasonal fishing trips with lodging at Captain’s Landing.
Captains Landing is located on the mighty Saginaw River between Saginaw and Bay City. With a fishing trip originating from the convenience of the landing, you will be fishing the Saginaw River for the monster Walleye that are spawning in March. Recent regulation changes have allowed Walleye fishing in this location year-round. (previously closed in March)
Here you’ll have access to local waters, including some honeyholes that only a local guide can show you.
You’ll navigate these waters aboard a 19’ Sylvan aluminum fishing boat with a live bait tank, and other essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle on board, along with lures. Live bait is sometimes used depending on what the Walleye are biting but is not always required.
Although the Lodge can accommodate up to 12 people, the fishing trips can take up to 3 people per trip. Additional boats can be added for an additional fee. Lodging includes a fully furnished three-bedroom ranch with plenty of room for your entire crew. Lodging features everything to make you feel at home while not on the river fishing.
You will need to buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can usually find that information online, or reach out to the lodging coordinator here.
Meals are not included in the price so be sure to learn more about your options ahead of time.
