These waters are known for Black Drum, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Scamp Grouper, Gag Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Black Sea Bass, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Sheepshead, Vermilion Snapper, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. You can keep some of the fish you catch, provided they're within limits.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your vessel for the day is a 27' Carolina Skiff or a 20 ft seapro center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, down triggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
We supply individual SC DNR licenses and permits required by SC State Law. Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
