You’re likely to go after Amberjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Broomtail Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Roosterfish, Sierra Mackerel, Cubera Snapper, Lane Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and more with any luck. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

You can keep some of the fish you catch, assuming they’re legal to keep. The captain can even clean your catch for you. Bring a cooler ready in the car!

Pearl Islands Charter Company welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You’ll step aboard a 37’ Intrepid cuddy cabin that can carry up to 10 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. The boat is equipped with satellite phone and lifejackets, so you're all set!

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

You can’t go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid glass bottles.
