Blue Lobster
Blue Lobster invites you to visit one of the most opulent fishing destinations in the world and explore it with them. If you're not familiar with Panama's fishing traits, all you need to know is that the name of nearby island Taboga means 'abundant fish' in the indigenous language.
Captain Gustavo Moscoso is local to this area and he knows every hidden gem. He'll give a helping hand to novice anglers and teach them a couple of tricks, but his main focus is for people to have fun on his trips and leave the boat smiling. He speaks both Spanish and English.
There are 2 main destinations to choose from. You can go to Taboga Island, which is only 20 minutes away from your launching spot. There's a variety of fish species to catch there and it's the best location you can go to if you're a beginner because the action is slower than on the other island.
This brings us to Otoque island. You can catch big Yellowtail, Snapper, Grouper, Barracuda, Marlin, Roosterfish, Tuna, and lots more. It takes one hour to reach the spot but it surely pays off. The fish here grow to massive sizes and will always give a great fight.
You'll be fishing from a 25' Cobia center console that accommodates up to 7 anglers. The boat was newly restored in 2019 and has all the necessary navigational and safety equipment. There's also a cooler on the boat to keep your drinks cold at all times.
Make sure you have your ID with you in case the Coast Guard checks the boat. Bring your snacks, drinks, and sunscreen. The captain has a few spinning and trolling rods but he prefers for you to bring your own equipment.
Blue Lobster is your gateway to a perfect day in Panama. Book now and get ready to be amazed!

Peter is passionate about fishing in the Caribbean. In the past, we often traveled to Los Cabos, Mexico, but this year we decided to try somewhere new and chose Panama. After thorough research, Peter found a reputable fishing charter called "Blue Lobster Fishing," which exceeded our expectations—they were truly exceptional. Captain Melvin, who has an undeniable enthusiasm for fishing, took us to the Pacific where we consistently caught impressive groupers throughout the day. The weather was calm, making it a memorable "Pacific" experience. Later, we targeted red snappers with equal success. Marco not only assisted with fishing but also captured the thrilling moments on video. Receiving these videos the next day was a wonderful surprise. Over seven or eight hours, we caught 15 fish—mostly groupers and three red snappers. The service didn't end there: Marco went above and beyond by cleaning and freezing the fish exactly as requested. He even researched the best way for us to transport the catch home, providing the right-size cooler for use as luggage and delivering it to the airport with his wife. Their dedication was outstanding! We will definitely recommend them to friends, and if you're interested in fishing in Panama, we encourage you to reach out to Blue Lobster Fishing. As Captain Melvin says, Panama is the only place where you can fish across three oceans—the Pacific, Caribbean, and Atlantic—in a single day.

thanks a lot, Enjoy your fishing🤙🎣🚤
I would highly recommend Blue Lobster boat for your next fising trip. The crew was very professional and even though we didn't catch many fish it wasn't for lack of trying. Captain Melvin took us to many fishing spots to try to catch fish. We finally had luck at the last spot catching 3 good sized grouper.

Thank you so much for choosing us. 🤙🚤🎣
We had a great fishing day and we worked really hard aboard Blue Lobster! Captain Gustavo and crew never stopped fishing, and made sure I caught fish! Captain Gustavo was super knowledgeable about the area and where to catch fish! I would highly recommend going out with Gustavo if you want to catch, and not just fish!

Thanks Tom, we'll be waiting for you next time and we'll go fishing again
