Big news - we’ve added another full-time boat to the Southern Addiction Outfitters crew, and this page is all about it! We’ve spent years fishing the legendary waters of Venice, Louisiana, and we’re excited to keep making memories with even more guests. Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Redfish, Black Drum, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Tripletail, Flounder, Red Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, and whatever else is biting.

You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You'll be casting lines from a 23' Bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
