- Capt. Josh’s favorite style of fishing is shallow water with a popping cork. The feeling of watching the cork going under then setting the hook just can’t be beat! Another great feature of fishing with a cork is, for someone who is a little less experienced, the added weight of the cork allows for an easier cast as well as a visual of the bite.
